Making up a Devon style fold down buddy seat from 20mm SHS.

Having bought a new fridge that sits between the front seats, I needed something to sit on whilst eating dinner. The answer was to make up and original style fold down Devon buddy seat. Normally these mount to the rear of the bulkhead but I made up a support so that it mounted next to the table as I did not want to drill into my nice bulkhead trim.

The pictures are pretty self explanatory. I just guessed the measurements / made it to fit. Pretty simple really.

The seat is covered in 1" foam (we used a couple of yoga mats glued together) and will be trimmed in camouflage canvas to match the rest of the interior.
