This car was born on 05/03/1955 with chassis number 80510 and was delivered in this signal red with a cream/Black Acella Bast Leatherette interior. Besides the headlights and the changed dashboard gages panel, this car should be completely original and it really looked accordingly. The car was bought in 1962 for $1642 and the previous owner drove it in 4 American states up until 1985. Then it was put away in a barn until 2014. If I am not mistaken the crankshaft bearings of these cars could not handle use on tracks and races and probably that explanes why the car had its engine rebuilt in 1965.
