You may have noticed the new points / leaderboard competition on the front page and in your profile, we have installed this to make holding the monthly competition a little easier (no need to counts posts now). The whole competition is now automated and the current leaders are shown on the front page.Basically most of the actions you preform on the site will earn you points - the member with the most points at the end of the month is the winner and will get whatever prize is on offer.The September competition is now be underway, so get contributing.As usual - if anyone has any questions, or finds any issues - post it here.Good Luck.Vdubber.

just a thought, perhaps the winner of the previous month (or till the prizes change or something) should be excluded.

i hope that others pick up on this place as well. i like it here. i do spend far too much time on the computer instead of in the shed though so could build up points rather quickly. plus there are heaps of things i have yet to try here...a suggestion, why not make refering a friend worth 5 or 10 points as active members are what we need atm. if someone wants the t-shirt enough they will try for it (we all love free stuff). i think the tipping point is coming where it will start to move around here, we just need to keep it building up for a little longer.

thank you gentleman, my t-shirt arrived a few minutes ago. (i love it when parcels arrive on my day off, it makes the days so much better)i was going to post a pic of me in it, but then i thought better of it... i must keep my superhero identity secret :D.thanks again.it looks like there is some serious competition for the biggest blabbermouth this month...i need to do something in my shed so i have something to write about.
