I will soon be starting on a project to create a registry for splitbusses. The idea is to provide a service like the Type 3 / Type 34Registry where owners can add their busses to a maintained registrythat records details for reference purposes. I know that there arealready several different registers out there, what we would like to dowith this one is pull all of the data together.The project once finished will also be rolled out to the Type 34Registry to update the currently broken database and reinstate the lostfunctionality caused by broken code.The Splitbus register will be run separately from Vdubber and will be located at http://www.splitbus.comIf you have any ideas for inclusion, please post a reply here.

OK,The guys over at VW South Africa were helpful in suggesting a few different ways to handle VIN data.Many users are concerned about displaying VIN data, but this forms the only continuous piece of data that remains unchanged through the life of a vehicle, in this respect it is the most important in tracking and identifying changes in ownership etc.

Just a quick update. The code is well and truly underway, the database is finished, some test info is populated and the first page calls are now functional.Mick.
