Got given this link by whatnow, its the scratch build of an overhead cam excelsior from 1920 by a guy called Paul Brodie of flashback fabrications. The guy has insane skills, it seems that there is nothing he cannot do.There were originally six bikes built by excelsior to compete with Harley Davidson and Indian on the board circuits. The bikes were a success and ran 10 seconds faster a lap at their initial outing than their competitors at speeds of up to 120mph.The success was however, short lived as the owner of excelsior ordered the bikes destroyed after a fatal accident killed one of their riders. The only surviving record of the bikes that exist today now are six photographs and so everything has been built from just these existing photos The work that has gone into this thing is unbelievable, a true work of art.If you want to own one, there is a limited production run of 10 bikes for sale at $115,000 each. The link - http://www.flashbackfab.com/pages/excel00.htmlBe sure to checkout the other bikes too - especially the steam bike :)A video of the first engine run - this thing sounds awesome.
